There has been a windfall of Rs 2,000 crore for land owners in and around Sanand, where the Gujarat government acquired over 4,000 hectares of land over the last seven years, turning many of these residents into ‘crorepatis’.

The global demand for aluminium foil will continue increasing by more than 4% CAGR until 2019, according to data released recently by CRU International. The additional global demand will add up to one million tons by the end of that period.
